NTRC RECEIVES PRIME-HRM BRONZE AWARD

CSC’s Director Judith Dongallo-Chicano, Commisioner Aileen Lourdes A. Lizada, Commisioner Leopoldo Roberto W. Valderosa, Jr. and Chairperson Alicia Dela Rosa-Bala awarded the plaque of recognition to OIC-Director Donaldo M. Boo and OIC-Deputy Executive Director Marlene L. Calubag.

 

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) for the second time recognized the National Tax Research Center (NTRC) in its commitment to promote service excellence in human resource management processes and practices. OIC-Executive Director Donaldo M. Boo and OIC-Deputy Executive Director Marlene L. Calubag together with the staff of the Administrative and Financial Branch and Human Resource Division received the award during the 2019 Public Sector HR Symposium at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City on July 24, 2019.

The Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) aims to successfully transform the agency’s human resource management system, competencies and practices to elevate public sector human resource to a level of excellence for good governance and for efficient and effective public service delivery.

The CSC awarded the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award to the NTRC in recognition of its excellence in human resource management systems, practices and competencies in the four-core human resource management areas, namely: 1) Recruitment, Selection and Placement; 2) Performance Management; 3) Learning and Development; and 4) Rewards and Recognition.

This recognition is a testament that the NTRC, an ISO certified agency, is committed to consistently provide quality services to its clients and comply with the applicable statutory and regulatory requirements on human resource management.

NTRC BAGS HALL OF FAME FOR MOST OUSTANDING ACCOUNTING OFFICE AWARD

The Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines, Inc. (AGAP) once again recognized the National Tax Research Center (NTRC) as one of the Hall of Famers for the Most Outstanding Accounting Office Award for Fiscal Year 2017. Executive Director Trinidad A. Rodriguez and Deputy Executive Director Teresita L. Solomon together with the staff of Administrative and Financial Branch received the award during the AGAP Convention-Seminar at the Iloilo Convention Center, Megaworld Blvd., Mandurriao, Iloilo City on October 17, 2018.

The Most Outstanding Accounting Office Award was given in recognition of the outstanding performance of the NTRC in providing quality, timely and accurate financial reports that are useful for decision-making and in demonstrating the accountability for the resources entrusted to it.  For three consecutive years, the NTRC garnered the said award, hence, it now belongs to the elite Hall of Fame category.

This recognition is a testament that the NTRC, an ISO certified agency, is committed to consistently provide quality services to its clients and comply with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
