NTRC BAGS GOVERNMENT QUALITY MANAGEMENT AWARD

The National Tax Research Center (NTRC) was recognized by the Government Quality Management Committee (GQMC) for successfully obtaining ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification on its core processes and frontline services.

Executive Director Trinidad A. Rodriguez received the award during the 6th Recognition Ceremony of Government Organizations with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification with the theme “Bringing Quality Government Service Closer to the People” which was held on October 25, 2018 at the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City.

The GQMC is mandated to encourage and promote improved public sector performance through the adoption of ISO 9001 QMS in all government agencies, and to recognize citizen-driven government organizations that have attained ISO 9001 certification.

This recognition is a testament that the NTRC ensures that its core processes and frontline services meet global management standards and commits to consistently provide quality services to its clients and comply with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

NTRC receives ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification

The National Tax Research Center (NTRC) officially received its ISO 9001:2015 certification from TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. on September 07, 2018. Executive Director Trinidad A. Rodriguez and Deputy Executive Director Teresita L. Solomon received the certification from TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. Managing Director Tristan Arwen Loveres.

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) thru the Government Quality Management Committee (GMQC) headed by Director Clotilde L. Drapete approved the budget to finance the establishment of ISO-Aligned Quality Management System (QMS) Documentation and Certification.  The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) provided technical assistance on the establishment of ISO-Aligned QMS Documentation and Technical Guidance on the Enhancement of Operation Controls and Procedures and QMS Implementation as well as the conduct of Readiness Assessment for the final preparation for ISO 9001:2015 certification.

The NTRC is committed to consistently provide quality services to its clients and comply with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. It also commits to continually improve the suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the NTRC QMS.
